Poor

Saturday night's Suxcast found weatherhorse Andrea Rich warning of rain on Sunday and urging those going to the College World Series to take an umbrella to the game.

Only problem with this advice? Umbrellas aren't allowed in the stadium.

You have to love it when the local newsies give misinformation about area events that they SHOULD know about.

Yeah, she's such a maroon! And that big butt grin of hers makes me want to puke!

On a better note, Caitlin Roth gave the viewers some credit today by saying that their weather forecast computers have done a terrible time of predicting just what the weather will do...thanks for giving some credence to our intelligence!!! She has more integrity that her boss, Joke Flowers!!

How do these local meteorologists get a degree if they can't make a descent forecast without using the damn computer model? Time and time again, a computer model is only as good as the data that is plugged into it. If the data ingested is bad, then the model may not pick up on t'storms forming in a general area. Most times the models overdo the precip.

Channel Sux FAIL... so NE made national news with the vote in Fremont banning renting to or employing illegal aliens. Good ol' Sux's online link has a failing header, and you have to scroll down 3 pages to find the story. You'd think the one story from Fremont that would EVER make national news would at least deserve a working webpage from the Heartland's News Leader.

And good news on the grammar front from the folks over at Sux:

From the lead paragraph:
Reports of damage was not disastrous.

Well, maybe they wasn't, them thar reports, or the damage weren't disastrous neither, but the quality control department sure as hell is.

I have been gone for about a year and half from Omaha. Man what has happen to Sux News? They were bad but never this bad.

BTW what happen to Amanda Mueller Fox 42 did she get a boob job and get married?

I think the quality control department began to disolve shortly after Merrill Workhoven left, and was completely gone by the time Gary Kerr had had enough of Pat Persaud.

Maybe she confused the CWS with the Kentucky Derby where I believe some women are still known to sport posh umbrellas.

The quality control began to deteriorate in the mid 90's, as that was the time they were axing all the people behind the scenes...those that actually knew what they were doing. They decided that they could hire a bunch of interns for 7.00 and hour to do what much more experienced people had spent years perfectng. They get what they deserve.

Just a question. Why does Jim Siedlecki insist on referring to 6:30 AM as “the top of the half hour”? I’ve never heard it called that in my life.

Does he mean the “bottom of the hour” like the rest of the universe calls it?
