Moonlighting?

Suxers trying to get a foot in the door by working weekends at KETV?

Probably true. KETV's 5-PM broadcast of Friday the 29th was broadcast with no sound for the first 3 minutes, as was the lead-in to the news.

Wow….a mistake at KETV is still an opportunity to bash WOWT? Sooooooo, is it just unacceptable to admit that KETV is also an inherently bad news operation?

So I switch over to WOWT this morning for a change of pace - Rusty's frozen in time after his weather update, muttering "Guys?" while we wait for a live shot of Phil the groundhog. Jim & Mal were blabbering about how funny it all is (their poor news show?). Let's just say that in 2 minutes, I realized why I don't watch WOWT in the morning.

Replying to Smith: I saw KETV do something really stupid the other day as well. There isn't really anyone in town who doesn't phone it in at least part of the time. Too bad for the viewers.

WOWT has just seemed to strive to be the poster child for shitty work. That differs from the shitty work put out by Pappas stations. They look like they're trying to tank. WOWT's crap is more pungent because they OUGHT to be able to do better. We just don't think KPTM or, at one time, the awful staff of KXVO, could do any better.

Tonight on KETV at 10, they had the run-up to the story on the increase in parking fines with the caption about the missing couple on the screen. Someone is getting paid for that?!?!?!? If I were KETV, I’d demand a refund, but that’s only my opinion.
Still, it's the only one I can watch… The others make my IQ drop just flipping by the stations.
Besides, I just can't pass up the chance to watch Todd Andrews.
