Revelation

This week's "High School Cribs" segment, featuring SuxNews morning bimbo Mal-Tard Maddox, showcased Papillion-LaVista High School, where Mal-Tard was excited to find Spanish classes and the same "ro-BAW-tics" classes that so amazed her when she visited "BIN-sun" High School a month or two ago.

Putting Mal-Tard on this series makes perfect sense: stories about high schools being delivered by someone with high school-level reporting skills and a high school cheerleader mentality. It's genius!

I'm excited about next week. I've read the spoilers. She goes to a high school with indoor plumbing and electronical lights!

Here's the thing: she kind of HAS to be dumb to do High School Cribs. If she was smart and realized how dumb it is that 6 stays with this segment, she'd hate herself.

Channel Six has been running a promo for the Women's Living Expo for that last two weeks that has a MAJOR typo in it. On the very last graphic in the spot, Saturday is spelled SATUDAY. Way to go! I've never posted on this site before, but I HAD to say something this time. I've seen it for the last TWO WEEKS. And I'm sure it will continue to run through the event. I know typos happen during live newscasts, but on a promo that's been running for at least two week's? Classic Six!

I've seen more mistakes and typos on the local media than I've ever recalled seeing. It is sloppy and pathetic. I was a grade school spelling champion in the Catholic schools in Omaha, so I value literacy and accuracy.

Ted:

This is off the subject, but I really hope you will have something on the continuous blathering by Foulers (Flowers). Ready to make up for their MAJOR gaffe last summer; these idiots are going wall to wall with coverage of the FIRST thunderstorm this year. What a riot!!! Everybody grab your knees, bend over and kiss your @$$ goodbye. Sux is telling us the skies are falling again.

Would someone please take away Foulers' Doppler...we live in Nebraska...we know what to do with a violent storm. Get a life already...

Is Mike McKnight the one in charge of chasing the storm??
