Oops

Why, when story after story had mentioned that actress Natasha Richardson had been flown to a New York hospital, did Brandi Peterson open her report on Richardson's death begin, "Sad news coming in from Hollywood tonight..."?

Do news people ever actually pay attention to what's going on in the world?

Brandi is fast becoming a bimbo. I've met her, actually tried to respect her. However, there's too much in the lack of common sense here. I see too many Bimbo mistakes without my even trying to notice. Even Julie Cornell did a much better job in this area.

Is it just me...Or is Brandi Peterson the spitting image of Chloe, the computer girl from "24"?

Ok, had to look up Chloe's picture, but that is really funny. Thanks for the laugh, DA.

In all seriousness, since Brandi's appointment to the top spot, KETV has fallen tremendously in the ratings, returning to second place. And, Hearst-Argyle's stock price has fallen over 90%.

Really...Ticker Boy. Hearst stock drop is attributed to Brandi taking over on the desk? I'll alert the Hearst stations in Baltimore and Sacramento and points in between. I'm sure they have been scratching their heads trying to figure this out. Brandi does a GREAT job. Sometimes she might try too hard, but she does a great job on the desk and out in the field in Live situations.

In her defense, it was Brandi who, in the immediate aftermath of the Von Maur shootings, would not turn cameras on families receiving the news during her live shots. She conducted herself as a true pro that day; she just needs to be careful about what she reads as an anchor.

ilovenews, just pointing something out...could be coincidence...

I hope you aren't a journalist, because if you think making a note is the same as "attribution"....
