Sharp

Check out this cartoon mocking the Omaha World-Herald's rejection of a gay couple's wedding announcement. It is a pitch-perfect skewering of the local rag. We especially love the final panel.

So so true on that fourth panel. Especially coming from Council Bluffs, it gets VERY tiring reading the Omaha World-Herald basically needlessly (and borderline dishonestly) promoting the shit out of how supposedly "cool" Omaha is.

haha, man I have tears coming out of my eyes from that cartoon. So, so true! The only thing missing was Tom Shatel waxing poetic about the greatness of the Huskers and how Omaha should host every single NCAA event.

And check out Michael Kelly's column on this past Saturday for an even more glaring example of the truth of this cartoon...

Good God OWH...get a life!! Omaha is a mid-size city and always will be!!! Deal with it already!

As a native who lived there for 18 years, moved away, lived there for another two years and moved away again, I can tell you that Omaha isn't a cool place to live, no matter how much the OWH makes you try to believe it is.
