Good News

The good news is that perpetually befuddled KETV reporter Laura Liggett has figured out that she may not be cut out for TV. She's taking a job with a local nonprofit agency, according to Sean Weide's Media Notes blog.

Hate to break it to you. But I'm not leaving. I'm not sure what your "alert reader" heard, but I just re-signed for three more years. So, you are stuck with me until 2009.

I totally agree. John Oakey was the only reason that I bothered to turn on the local early news on any station, and he will be sorely missed.

What? He's not leaving. John CAMPBELL is the one leaving.

Scanning the neural pathways. Smacking noggin' in an attempt to stimulate (simulate?) some functional thought process.

Shunning deep colonic cleansing for general principals and due to the likely non-usefullness of said method to stimulate recollection functions.

Nope. Unable to place name of J. Oakey unit with neither face nor observation of said unit on the TV reception device.

Perhaps the Mighty Obbop has never viewed the TV news at the time period the Oakey unit was vocalizing the written words upon the teleprompter device.

Thus, since the Mighty Obbop has no real-life observation to base lambasting upon the Mighty Obbop must be content with wishing the Oakey unit the best of luck and may all his teleprompter words be correctly spelled and written in English.

Before departing upon the mothership, does the Oakey unit realize his name spelled backwards is "nhoj yekao"? Incredible, yes?

I think Obbop needs to lay off the hallucinogens for awhile. Just say no.
