More Time to Reed

Aside from the Channel 6 "first response" event on Tuesday, the only other memorable item we've seen is the work of KETV's Kailyn Reed. We've decided Reed is the Anti-Fazal; she is everything that Fubar isn't. Attractive. Articulate. Poised. Intelligent.

We were with friends who'd not seen her before when one of them remarked, "She's way too good to be working in Omaha." Yeah. We know.

My sentiments exactly. Even her basic demeanor says "destined for better things". Just hope she never gets the Courtney Gerrish "what the hell was I thinking by staying here" stare.

I agree. Kailyn Reed is a gem to treasure while we have her.

Your posting got me to thinking: It has been several months since you last published your list of the talent you like in the Omaha market. With all of the comings and goings that have transpired, perhaps it is time for an updated list. Also, it is possible that some of those who made it on that list may have since succumbed to mediocrity and are no longer worthy of recognition.

She's a sweet little thing. Wonder if she has a hankerin' for a fat old guy living in a shanty?

I'm glad to see her on the KETV news again. For awhile there, following the jogging trail assault story, I had equated her seeming abscence with having already moved on to greener pastures.
Ms. Reed is one of the rare examples of this city's on-air talent that doesn't annoy the hell out of me. We don't usually manage to find broadcasters who are actually all that good at their job.
The fact that she's a knockout is a bonus, of course.
